Pros and Cons of the Supsoo B131 Review
2022-05-31

The Supsoo B131 Wireless ANC Headphones are a professional set of noise canceling headphones. Starting at $239, these headphones are priced very competitively in the market. Let’s take a look at some of the pros and cons of the B131 from Supsoo

Pros

Firstly, these headphones are priced extremely well. Considering all of the features that Supsoo managed to put in these headphones, the price point is much lower than the majority of the competition. $239 is a great price point for over the ear headphones with Active Noise Canceling

Speaking of ANC, the ANC system on these headphones has three modes, On, Off and Transparency Mode. The modes can be toggled between using the dedicated ANC button on the headphones. Having the ANC on its own separate switch allows you to use just the ANC without having to turn the bluetooth and the headphones on. This is great for when you want to just cancel the noise out and not listen to music, like when you’re trying to sleep.

The materials on these headphones are also amazing. I was genuinely impressed when I pulled them out of the box for the first time. The leather on the ear cups is really smooth and soft and is really comfortable to wear.

The sound quality on these headphones is amazing. I love a good and balanced tune on my music and these headphones fit right into the sweet spot. The bass is present without being overpowering and the treble is clear without being harsh. The tune really is a great balance.

To round out my favorite things about these headphones, I love the fact that they come with a case and a hard wire backup cable. Sometimes, you just forget to charge your headphones, so having a wired option as a backup is a really nice treat. Plus it all packs into a nice carrying case.

Cons

When it comes to the downsides of the B131, there really aren’t that many. The first one is the aforementioned case. Because of the shape of the case and how the headphones fit into the case, the case becomes quite wide. It makes packing it on top of things in a backpack a bit more difficult. Also, the accessories don’t have a secure way of staying in the case. While they do go under the insert in the case, they can unravel easily and become disorganized.

Other than that, I really have no other issues with these headphones. They are great and have served me well during my time with them. If you’re looking for a great set of Active Noise Canceling headphones, look no further than the Supsoo B131.
